A beautiful handira pillow, made from an authentic vintage bridal cape. We search and collect the handira bridal blankets to make beautiful pillows. They are made by the craftsmen with whom we work.

According to the old Moroccan Berber tradition, the handira was worn like a cape around her shoulders on the day of her wedding.

The handira was made entirely by hand with a lot of love and many prayers by female relatives of the bride. The cape was hand spun and hundreds and thousands of sequins were being put by hand into the handira. The handira stood for happiness, fertility, and protection from evil.

Vintage handiras are very popular but hard to find in good condition. The white handiras are even more difficult to find and the most exclusive ones.

Styling with Handira Cushions

Adding a beautiful scandiboho chic vibe will be easy with these beautiful pillows. They also look great in a Scandinavian-style interior.
